The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks are a team in Nippon Professional Baseball. They were known as the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks from 1989 to 2004 while they were owned by supermarket and department store chain Daiei. They were sold to SoftBank Group in 2005 and were renamed the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. They won four consecutive Japan Series from 2017 to 2020 under manager Kimiyasu Kudo, who played for the Saitama Seibu Lions during the "Invincible Seibu" era from the 80s to early 90s, when they won 6 Japan Series titles. Currently, their manager is Hiroshi Fujimoto.
