The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights were a team in the American Hockey League. They were the top affiliate of the Calgary Flames. Their unusual name comes from Omaha's civic club: Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben, Nebraska spelled backwards. In 2007, they moved to Illinois and changed their name to the Quad City Flames.
